The Chateau dates back to 1550 when it was owned by Diane de Poitiers, the famous lover of Henry the second.

The present owner:
Peter Wylly and Birgit Israel are the directors of Babylon design an internationally renowned design company, based in London. They have designed the interiors and several of the products used in the hotel.
Marc Koenemund, former owner of three restaurants in Hamburg, Vitell, Vienna and Jena Paradies . All 3 places are well known and Gault Millaut and Michelin recommended. Trained as a chef and sommelier in Michelin star restaurants he is working as the head manager for restaurant and kitchen.
